I'm very good at suggesting things for others to do, but hold back on myself. However, I have actually tried Boudoir photography.. FROM THE OTHER SIDE lol.
I went to my friends last year, and she and her husband (both photographers) put me through my paces to show how easy/hard it is. I chose to put myself in an 'uncomfortable' postition, by letting both of them take photos, it would have been so easy to stay in my comfort zone with just Louise, but I wanted to experience this from a customers perspective!! As you can imagine, its not too easy getting your kit off in front of your friend and her husband, but, I did! They were fab, put me at my ease, and once we got to taking the photos, I forgot my embarrassment and just got into 'the flow'. I had a great time, and we got some fab photos... Not bad for a 51 year old (at the time).
Now, the reason I am telling you this (there is always a reason lol) is to make you feel at ease when you come and have your Boudoir photos taken, or have a fantastic Boudoir party at home.. I have done it... I know how it feels.. and, after a couple of awkward seconds..It feels great. The resulting photos make your confidence soar, you feel brilliant about yourself and have a new positive feel about your body image!!!
I have attached some photos of Boudoir shots, myself included for you to look at. This is the 'real you'... not photoshopped out of recognition, (unless you request it) not airbrushed to near anorexia... Photos of the you that your partner will recognise, and love.
